 Tia Kofsky, Founder:

I never set out thinking I’d run a jewellery brand. Here we are.

I started in software sales, working with inventory systems, and later joined a Shopify Plus agency where I helped eCommerce brands grow their online presence. That experience opened my eyes to the potential of building something meaningful, creative, and lasting. I couldn’t shake the feeling that it was time to start something of my own.

Launching a business while working full-time was daunting, but the idea of never trying felt worse than the risk of failing. So I began with one piece, one late night, and one step at a time.

Jewellery has always had a personal place in my life. It marks memories, emotions, and little moments worth celebrating. I wanted to create pieces that feel like that: meaningful, wearable keepsakes with timeless beauty.

When I first discovered moissanite, I was drawn to its brilliance and sustainability. But I quickly noticed a gap. Truly beautiful moissanite jewellery was either overpriced or poorly made. There wasn’t much available that felt both luxurious and accessible.

So I started Kofsky & Stone, a small, independently run brand creating elegant, high-quality jewellery using lab-grown moissanite and other ethically sourced stones. Some collections also feature high-grade zircon, where clearly specified, chosen for its clarity and affordability without compromising on beauty.

This brand is for people who appreciate thoughtful design, quiet luxury, and pieces that feel personal rather than mass-produced. I still pack each order myself, and I’m grateful for every single one.

The Mission

At Kofsky & Stone, the mission is to bring a sense of refined beauty into the everyday. I believe jewellery should feel special not because of the price, but because of the story it carries and the way it makes you feel.

Each piece is crafted with care, using premium lab-grown moissanite, zircon where specified, and hand-finished settings. The goal is to create jewellery that’s timeless, wearable, and meaningful, whether it’s a gift, a celebration, or simply something lovely just for you.
