Tia Kofsky, Founder

Jewellery has always held a special place in my life. It marks milestones, celebrates memories, and carries meaning long after the moment has passed. Some of my most treasured pieces are not valuable because of what they cost, but because of the stories they represent.

As someone who has always loved jewellery, I became frustrated by how difficult it was to find pieces that felt both beautiful and reasonably priced. Too often, customers are forced to choose between luxury brands with significant markups and lower-quality alternatives.

When I discovered moissanite, it opened my eyes to a world of beautiful, innovative, and more accessible jewellery. From there, I developed a deep appreciation for lab-grown diamonds, lab-grown gemstones, and other high-quality materials that allow customers to achieve the look and quality they want without the traditional luxury price tag.

That gap in the market became the inspiration for Kofsky & Stone.

After evaluating multiple suppliers and manufacturers, I built relationships with trusted production partners who consistently meet the standards I expect for quality and craftsmanship. By working directly with these partners and operating primarily online, I am able to offer elegant, high-quality jewellery at more accessible price points than many traditional retailers.

One question I am often asked is how Kofsky & Stone can offer these prices.

The answer comes down to how the business is structured. Without the overheads of a traditional retail store, showroom, or large team, I can focus on what matters most: quality jewellery and exceptional customer service.

Kofsky & Stone is also a genuine passion project. Alongside running the brand, I continue to work full-time in a career that I love. This allows me to focus on creating beautiful jewellery and delivering exceptional value, rather than building large margins into every piece.

Today, Kofsky & Stone specialises in jewellery featuring lab-grown diamonds, moissanite, lab-grown gemstones, and other carefully selected materials. For custom pieces, I work closely with trusted partners to help bring each design to life, creating jewellery that feels personal, meaningful, and uniquely yours.

I still pack every order myself, and I am incredibly grateful for every customer who chooses to support a small independent business.
